BR Printers is in search of a Plant Director for its Cincinnati, Ohio Plant.

Job Purpose:

The Plant Director is the heart and main driver of our plants; a change agent who oversees all daily operations of the Cincinnati, Ohio plant, with a focus on safety, planning, maximization of production and efficient manufacturing, as well as ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed. He or she will develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity and is a results driven and hands-on leader with a proven track record of continuous improvement and driving teams to excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Actively work on strategies to increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining and improving current quality standards
• Set and implement targets in alignment with BR’s strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus to Plant Managers and Supervisors.
• Be a hands-on leader, ready to think outside of the box and engage with employees at all levels to promote the established productivity goals of the plant and to strive for excellence.
• A good communicator, who will actively engage and motivate team members, creating an environment of transparency and foster knowledge exchange.
• Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff, as well as motivate employees for lifetime learning and improvement.
• Commit and execute companywide environmental and safety procedures and policies.

Plant Director requirements and qualifications:

• Management experience with various aspects of business such as safety, production, human resources, marketing, supply, and demand management.
• B.S. Business Management or similar relevant field desired, not required.
• In-depth knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proactive problem solver
• Willing to relocate and live in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,500.00 – $114,300.00 per year
